
Transforming a store into a game
Besides being the biggest game publisher in Brazil, Level Up Games decided to enter the online game key sales market. To differentiate from all competitors in the Brazilian market, we determined that the best approach would be to transform the shopping experience into an immersive gaming experience itself—creating a store that places users inside a game-like environment.

My tasks
🎭 01. Character Design — As the product took shape, our design team developed a gamification layer featuring a loyalty points system. Staying true to the store's pixel-themed branding, we named these points "Pix"—a currency users could exchange for games. This branding decision became the foundation for creating characters that would live within the platform's interface and enhance the overall user experience. After research and exploration, I began designing these characters.
📱 02. UI — Following the creation and validation of the characters—based on user feedback gathered by the QA team—I started implementing them across key screens of the platform.
